Shooting and making a video for your business can be stressful: setting the camera, the editing,… it takes time and a lot of effort. This is why AI videos have come in and are now becoming very popular amongst e-commerce businesses.
What classifies as an AI video?
In simple terms, AI videos are videos created using artificial intelligence tools. Instead of filming everything yourself, these tools can take your raw ideas and turn them into videos within a short time. That means you don’t need to invest your precious time in shooting and/or editing.
WHY BUSINESSES ARE STARTING TO TAKE AI VIDEOS MORE SERIOUSLY.
One of the biggest reasons is this: they make it much easier to show something instead of just saying it. And this is really important for pushing out your product. For example:
Imagine you sell gadgets and electronics. If you have an Instagram page, people may often ask, “How does this thing work?”. Instead of writing a long paragraph each time the questions come, you can use an AI video tool to create a short video showing how the product works..
This matters because these days, people watching something understand it faster than if they were reading it. AI handles everything you need it to, based on the simple prompts you write. This is especially helpful if you don’t have video editing skills, or can’t pay a videographer.
AI videos are faster.
Traditional videos take a significantly longer amount of time to make. Think about it: you come up with a script, set up lights, record multiple takes, edit clips, add music, add subtitles, fix mistakes. All of this takes time! But with AI, you only need to:
- Write a prompt
- Let the AI generate the video
- Review and tweak if needed
Shortly after, you get your finished video. These AI tools can even automate editing tasks without you doing too much brainstorming.. That’s super helpful if you need to publish content frequently or can’t wait for a freelance editor to deliver.
AI videos save money
Many businesses find out that they would have to pay a lot to produce even a short video the old-fashioned way. But AI tools can do it for a tiny fraction of the cost or even free depending on the tool you use.
You can use the money you saved on video production for other parts of your business, like ads.
WHY BETTER PRODUCT VIDEOS MEAN BETTER SALES
First thing to note: online shoppers rely on visuals. When they can see how something works through a video you post, they feel more confident buying it. AI videos help businesses create:
- Product demos
- Feature explainers
- How-to product guides
- Short educational clips
All of these are done using AI tools without filming anything physically. Some tools even allow you to create AI avatar presenters or voiceovers, which can still feel professional and polished without human presence.
For e-commerce brands especially, showing your products with moving visuals(video) often leads to higher conversions. This is because the product isn’t just described, it is shown in action, which helps your customers understand it better.
You make more videos
Another huge advantage is scalability. Before AI, making even one video took effort and time. Now you can produce an entire video all from simple prompts.
That means you can test new ideas quickly, react to trends faster, and keep your content fresh without burning your team out.
SHOULD SMALL BRANDS USE AI VIDEOS?
The answer is a big YES especially if:
- You want to explain products clearly.
- You don’t have the budget for traditional video production.
- You want fast, scalable content.
- You want to compete with bigger brands’ marketing.
You see, AI videos won’t replace real human creativity or strategy, but they magnify what you can do with the resources you already have. They’re a smart tool for businesses that want professional results without professional budgets.
So if you want to improve your video marketing in 2026, give AI generated videos a try. They’re fast, affordable, and powerful. Also, they just might be the secret tool your brand needs to stand out online!
